挑戦的なあそびから、自由な造形を生み出す。
YAMAZUMI is a set of wooden blocks inspired by mountains. By combining mountain-shaped and valley-shaped pieces, children and adults can explore balance, gravity, spatial awareness, and architectural structure through open-ended play.
山をモチーフにした、形の違う積み木のセット。山型、谷型のピースを組み合わせて積み上げることで、重力を感じながら空間認識や立体構造のバランスを楽しみながら学べる知育玩具です。

The triangular frame structure makes each piece light, easy to hold, and satisfying to combine. The angles create natural points for stacking and fitting, encouraging repeated experiments.
三角形をベースに角を意識して設計しているので、全体として収まりよく組み合わせて遊べます。角があるからこそ、積みたくなる、はめたくなる構造です。フレーム構造だから軽く、小さなお子様の手にも握りやすい形状です。
MATERIALFrom forestry and altar artisanship林業と仏壇職人の技術から
Born from wood shared with Buddhist altar ranma making.
仏壇の欄間づくりと、共同で使う木材から生まれる。
YAMAZUMI is made with natural woods such as fir, used in the ranma openwork panels of Hiroshima Buddhist altars, together with groove-cutting machinery and the skills of altar artisans. Techniques developed for Buddhist altar making are repurposed here in an entirely different context: play. It is also an experiment in carrying forward delicate woodworking skills by giving them a new use and value.
ヤマヅミの製造は、広島仏壇で欄間加工に使われるモミなどの天然木や細い溝を入れる加工機や職人の技術によりつくられています。職人による技術を、仏具ではなく「あそび」というまったく異なる文脈に転用してつくっています。繊細な木加工を技術継承するためにもなる可能性としても価値をもつ試みです。

CENSA inc. is a design studio on the third floor of a building overlooking the Tenma River at the western edge of central Hiroshima. The studio includes TATOBI, a store where visitors can purchase blocks, mobiles, shogi sets, and other products from our Sukima.gift brand. It is also a small factory and a space for workshops.広島市中区の西の端、天満川を望むビルの3階にあるデザインスタジオCENSA inc.は、ストア「多と美／TATOBI」を併設しています。自社メーカーブランドSukima.giftのツミキやモビール、将棋などをお買い求めいただけるスペースになります。また、製造するファクトリーでもあり、ワークショップを行うスペースもあります。
